As we step into the second month of 2025, let’s take a look back at the year that was 2024 and highlight the top sellers in the world of juice balls, powders, syrups, and more. This year was all about bold flavours and classic favourites. So, let’s dive in and relive the flavours that you and your customers loved the best...
Juicy Trends: Top Juice Balls
First up, let’s talk about the Juice Balls... these little bursts of joy were loved by all, but the top contenders truly stood out. Mango was a superstar this year, with both Mango Flavoured Juice Balls (AC) and Mango Flavoured Juice Balls (NC) leading the charge. Whether you were in the mood for something tangy and sweet or looking for that tropical twist, mango had you covered.
But let’s not forget about the other flavour contenders — Strawberry, Lychee, and Passion Fruit all made a splash too. Strawberry Flavoured Juice Balls (NC) and Lychee Flavoured Juice Balls (NC) made for some serious competition in the rankings, showing that fruit-inspired flavours are still in the spotlight.
Powders: Taro vs Vanilla
When it comes to AQ Powders, the race was fierce, but two flavours emerged as clear winners — Taro and Vanilla. These two flavours dominated the scene, with both selling around 30% more than the next closest competitors. Whether you’re craving the earthy sweetness of Taro or the comforting vibe of Vanilla, these two flavours have certainly earned their crown.
Other notables included the ever-popular Milk Tea and Mango powders, which continue to be favourites for those who love a creamy, indulgent sip. And don’t forget the Matcha Green Tea powder — just right for adding a little zen in to a drink.
Syrup Sensation: Mango Takes the Lead
Moving on to syrups, the Mango Flavoured Syrup took the crown here, outselling its closest competitor by 15%. But don’t think the competition didn’t keep things interesting! Strawberry, Passion Fruit, and Lychee syrups all kept the syrup scene exciting, while Brown Sugar Syrup and Tiger Syrup went head-to-head for a close finish.
Jelly Time: OG Dominates
Boba Jellies were another area where coconut ruled supreme. The Original Coconut Jelly was the clear favourite, but Lychee, Blueberry, and Mango flavoured coconut jellies weren’t far behind. And let’s not forget the Sakura Heart Jelly — perfect for adding a little Valentine's Day love to your drinks.
Tapioca: The Reigning Champ
Tapioca took the crown for the year with a massive 22% lead over the competition. With Tapioca 8.5mm being the undisputed favourite, it’s clear that this chewy delight is still a top choice for bubble tea lovers everywhere. Let’s just say, the tapioca party isn’t slowing down any time soon...
Teas: Assam Wins Over Jasmine
Tea lovers had their pick of brews, but Assam Tea outpaced Jasmine Tea by 20%. It looks like rich, bold flavours won out in 2024, though Jasmine still held its ground with fans of floral notes. Whatever your tea preference, it’s been a great year for enjoying the perfect cup.
Creamer: BB Creamer Steals the Show
In the creamer category, BB Creamer proved to be the heavy hitter, outselling AQ Creamer by 45%. It’s clear that BB has cemented itself as the go-to choice for creaminess, making every cup extra indulgent.
Other Standouts
- Crème Brulee was the top pudding, selling three times as much as any other, proving that rich, caramelized sweetness is still in demand.
- BB Mango was the clear winner in the BB flavour race, selling twice as much as the next closest flavour.

- And in a fun twist, we sold a whopping 2.25 million fruit teas — making fruit a clear winner over milk tea, which sold 1.5 million. Looks like fruit teas are the drink of the moment.
Eyes on 2025
Looking ahead, we’re keeping a close eye on BB Blueberry Blast, which is showing early promise for 2025. Could it be the next big thing? We’ll have to wait and see...
